In order to pursue a maintenance service, its goals, by offering a competitive price, it is necessary to conceive a balanced maintenance plan in relation to a technical and organizational aspect.
The detection of a balanced maintenance policies is the result of the awareness of the maintenance team and how the work would be structured like.
Afterwards, it is possible to identify all plan requisitions in terms of involved people, organizational asset and expenses.
A maintenance plan is useful to define in which moment is necessary to maintain an equipment with specific actions after a breakdown or contrarily, when it is appropriate to prevent those breakdowns through a specific preventive maintenance.

Moreover, the scheduled preventive maintenance entails periodic checking and control procedures, cleaning and lubrification of the mechanical moving parts, checking of hydraulic system and tyres with its leak test, substitution of the replacement parts and wear parts aiming to prevent, decrease the failure and maintain an adequate functional condition of the equipment.
In nuclear medicine, the regular maintenance as mentioned in the “radiopharmaceuticals standards of good preparing, GURI n°168 del 21.07.2005”, it is necessary, in order to grant safety towards patients, to have a sterile formulation in addition to a staff exposed to ionizing radiation during manipulation.

As extraordinary maintenance, are meant the procedures to:
• Identify a damage or a dysfunction related to the instrumentation;
• Recognize the cause;
• Adopt all the measures to grant the resetting of the normal condition of function;
• Execute a final functional checking and eventually an instrument security checking;
In the occasion of a corrective maintenance it is possible to draw up a Basic or Safe Plus contract including all prices.
